Back to Nature and Magical Melody are the best I have played. The SNES game has some charm for being the first one, but all around I can take the nostalgia glasses off and see it is inferior to some later installments in the series.

I'm playing it now. It's nice that you can stay up as long as you want and take care of everything.
Daytime is way too short however. Later games try to balance it better.

wonderful life on gamecube is my favorite. shame about the lag on ps2...I love the music.

honorable mentions...n64 and ps1 versions are tied. gba version right there with them.

I'd probably consider either the SNES or N64 games to be the best in the series.

SNES is the only one I've played.
