What are the best doraemon and gegege no kitaro /vr/ games?
Doraemon has like 3 Nintendo 64 games, fun 3D platformers.
Kitaro has a SFC game and a Saturn/PS game, both good.

This. There's also a Kitaro RPG on Famicom that's been fan translated.

Kitaro has two famicom games I believe. Try the second one. Its a weird rpg styled game. You travel an overworkd and destroy different "yokai storms" while having different character join you, though they act more as abilities then party members.
Also not game related but have you ever heard of Hideshi Hino? Work reminds of Kitaro quite a bit.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have not heard of Hideshi Hino, his art looks pretty cool.

His work is more horrific but I enjoy his style. I like how in a way his art looks simple, even "childish" if you want to be negative, but it displays a true level of morbidity that doesn't feel like its trying so hard.
Happy to see more kitaro fans. Such a great series, it really pains me to see the style it went around the 80's-90's. The 50's-70's style is great.

The best Kitaro game can't be discussed here because then people will go apeshit over "NOT MUH /vr/".

None of these guys care about a thread like this.
The GBA game was decent. Reminded me of the Shaman King games.

I think you missunderstood. I think it's visually shit, the gameplay is fine.
