retro console games that somehow were ported to PC

It's pretty awful, but not as bad as Amigavania.
Many Sega games were ported to PC.
Console-to-PC ports became more commonplace during fifth gen.
Mega Man X?
I own this and House of the Dead. There were a lot of others, such as Virtua Cop and Panzer Dragoon.
Great ports, ripe for a quick update and a re-relase on GOG and Steam.

I doubt this is a legitimate cover, but Sega Rally was ported to the PC as well.

always found it strange that this game of all Capcom fighters got a late release in 1997 on DOS

TheArcadeStriker is awesome. I tried running most SEGA PC games around 8 years ago on modern OS and couldn't even get the games to install. Amazing that his RetroBox solution works for so many games. Wish I could throw a few bucks his way.
If we're talking about Sega's classic PC ports, where's the love for Sonic & Knuckles Collection?
Jet Moto
Twisted Metal
Wipeout
Raiden II (perhaps not console)
Tomb Raider
Sonic 3 (& Knuckles?)
Virtual Cop
Manx TT
Mortal Kombat 4
The Need For Speed
I mean a lot of these can be argued that they were never intended to be console-first except Sega, so I don't know.
