Not saying Popo isn't a great character, but I distinctly remembering watching the Japanese episodes of DBZ where Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha train under Kami and Mr. Popo basically spoke in broken sentences in the Japanese version, saying things like KAMI-SAMA WANT TO SPEAK WITH YOU or MR.
