What's your favorite Famicom palette?
Whatever palette comes out of my Famicom, retard.
Stop remaking this thread you fucking autist.
Check the archives for "wavebeam." OP has been trying to shill his custom palette for the past week.
Reminder not to use autism palettes.

The Sony one looks the closest to what the games actually look like on my CRT, and to what they looked like when I was a kid.
0 saturation
>>3895087
I'm more of a fan of 100% saturation.
>>3895060
>The Sony one looks the closest to what the games actually look like on my CRT, and to what they looked like when I was a kid.
You're wrong.
>>3895324
What exactly am I wrong about?
Nestopia ftw.
>>3895339
WHAT?
That's easily the shittiest one on there, right behind FBX.
>>3895346
I agree, FBX is dark and lifeless.
FCEUX is oversaturated, Sony has the same issue to a lesser degree.
wavebeam is decent
but nestopia is best of all because it's tasteful, balanced, and true to the original vision.
>>3895374
but FBX is too dull and drab. Nestopia captures the original feel while making it pop.
Another shill thread, great
Slightly purple sky in Mario is correct according to the original creators.

>What exactly am I wrong about?
you think your fuckin memories aren't implants. whoo boy, where do I EVEN begin?
>>3895685
Ow, shit, my eyes! Dude, that shit hurts.
On all the tv's ive tried, the sony one is the closest
I remember when calling autistic was a compliment. 4chan was invaded by dirty normies.
>>3895685
What fresh hell is this?
>>3895029
>Purple skies and dark brown text box
That IS right though.
>>3895060
This one. I even did a comparison by running nestopia with the Sony palatte while playing my nes on a crt. Apart from the lighting differences, colorwise, it was identical
>>3895374
you can't have an objectively correct palette on the FC/NES hardware. Subjective, maybe.
>>3897972
Yeah you can. Calibrate your display to NTSC standards and you're all set.
>>3897976
wew.
>>3895685
Is this how it actually looks?
>>3897418
This has been discussed before, and no, it's not.
Different TVs will make colors come out differently, but believe it or not, skies are generally meant to be blue.
You can prefer purple because of nostalgia, but it's not the most accurate.
>>3897418
Nigger, how stupid do you think we are?
The official fucking box art has blue skies.
>You can prefer purple because of nostalgia
But that would be wrong too, the purple skies are an artifact of modern decoder chips/displays.
>>3898047
The GBC port also has blue skies
>>3898049
And would you look at this: the GBA port also has blue skies.
>>3898051
The NES mini also has blue skies.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_N0sEMoK05Q
>>3898059
But the Wii and Wii U VC versions have purple skies.
>>3898051
And would you look at this, no it doesn't.
>>3898303
But the Wii and WiiU NES use a terrible emulator
Sony CXA2025 is known to be biased and inaccurate. Most other consumer decoders are too, for the same reason today displays are set to a totally inacurate "Vivid" color setting by default.
>>3898360
and the nesmini isn't ?
>noise
>antiflicker
>>3894791
mini palette best palette.
>>3898651
Considering they actually put effort in including a new palette, yes.
dude autism lmao
