PC-98 / Saturn Elf games

If I recall correctly the Yellow label ports from Kid (キッド) were fine.
Nipples get censored but everything else is there and voiced.

With a game like Princess Maker 2 you can't really go wrong with any version.
Overall it's going to depend on what you're looking for and why you want the Saturn over PC98. H will get censored and graphics get downgraded. Additional cutscenes are a bit hit or miss as well.
It's also a good idea to consider Windows ports as an alternative.

Kakyuusei is my favorite game of all time and I first played it on Saturn, though I don't see much point in the Saturn version these days when you can play either the Windows port of the Saturn version with expanded sex scenes, or the second Windows port which goes back to more of the original dialog pre-Saturn dialog censorship, but without the extra events the Saturn version added.

They're general lower res but higher color, so depends on what you like there. At the time I liked the color upgrade a lot. These days I have more of an appreciation for 16-color PC-98 art though.

PC-98 ports were a big part my Saturn experience (pic related).
Saturn introduced me to elf's games and I fell in love with a game girl for the first time with Miho in Doukyuusei if. (Also made me a Tange Sakura fan.)

I forget it's release time frame, not sure if it hit the PC-98 or Saturn.

You're thinking of Kakyuusei 2.
It's only on Windows.
It doesn't have actual NTR in the story itself but can feel that way from a player perspective if you go into it with certain expectations.

How is Can Can Bunny Premiere for Saturn?
Heard somewhere it's the least censored Saturn game since it has adult rating and only few games on SS have them (one I have is Idol Janshi Suchie Pie Remix and 2)

But the labels don't really say much about the amount of censorship. Nonomura Hospital had a red label and is heavily censored. It boils down to red: nipples, yellow: no nipples.

I've never played the PC-98 version so I can't compare to the original, but it does have nipples + full detailed sex scenes just like the later yellow-label Can Can Bunny games (with command-selection instead of clicking body parts). It's the only unvoiced one, though.

I realized this may sound confusing.
Only Saturn Can Can Bunny with nipples is this one. The "just like" applies to everything after the "+"

I've played the remake for a while and the soundtrack is pretty nice but some songs may have instruments quieter then PC-98 version or different speed/rhythm just like the Saturn version.
Overall, except for bad character art and the point and click user interface it's a pretty good remake.

You have very big marks all over the art where you can click and it snaps to that point instantly and dims the screen.
The school section is bloated with icons and just slight cursor movement dims out and in the screen, it's just weird and distracting.
Maybe it looks fine on Vita but when I played it on PS4 I just wished I could turn it off or at least the screen dim.

I only played the Saturn releases so not sure about other entries in the series. Each of the Saturn games has a different-player character and different girls, except for the goddess Swaty (Sarasvati) who plays a cupid-like role, not someone you can sleep with.

Didn't complete the whole game but some scenes that had complete nudity are most likely cut, the slight undressing and panty shots are still there.
I'm near the end of Ayumi route so I will say later if the love scene was cut.

My guess was that changing the CG is easier than rewriting the script, assuming they don't have access to the source code.

New arrangement is mostly nice enough but there are also annoying screw-ups. Recollection/Reminiscence (https://youtu.be/JmzOH0Dgpj0) has a wrong note at 1:57, and in Memories (https://youtu.be/UyF8FnVVQJ0) the melody at about 0:57 ends improperly - almost a copy-paste of how it does the second time at 1:35 except awkwardly cut-off.

Like I said, some songs just like Saturn version may sound different.
The reason why they sound different is because of different instruments used, that's why every other version, be it Windows, Saturn or the Remake may sound weird when you are only used to PC-98 version.
The real problem is the volume, some instruments are just too quiet, often the drums and because of that some songs don't have the same impact.

Except the errors I mentioned are in the notes themselves and has nothing to do with the instrumentation. I have heard the Saturn and Super Soundtrack versions and they don't have the same errors (although they have other problems of their own).
