Can't argue with that. When I was younger my local Wal-mart has a demo station with the TV way high up. After just 10 minutes of playing I would get lightheaded, and actually got vertigo somehow one time.

The much more likely explanation: the games are basically live advertisements for the games & consoles, so they want high screens so as many people as possible can see them in action, especially in the ballpark.
