The N64 version had decent character models, but oh man did those backgrounds suffer for some reason. I know N64 emulation isn't the best, but they still don't look great. The mame emulation isn't perfect yet, but it's still preferable on the whole.

Grendal's also unlockable, in both versions, using a similar method to unlocking Pojo. The N64 port also gains "Ned The Janitor", who's just a palette swap of one of the main characters.

The N64 version is also the only one where you can hack to play as Asmodeus. If you try to do it on the arcade version, the game will just state "Error loading Boss Texture" every time you try to do it. Don't think I've ever seen that happen in a game otherwise.

Super Robot Spirits is a cool fighting game on the N64, it's not Tekken 3 or Virtua Fighter 2, but it's the only fighting game from the Super Robot franchise, and I find the gameplay more engaging than MK4.
