Original MK is still GOAT.

Other MK's were ruined by the blue shell.

older mario karts were always better imo, i never liked super circuit just bc gba hurts my mammoth hands. MKWii was good tho

Most people I played with thought MK64 was the best but I still maintain that the original is the greatest. Second might be DS but not retro.

Mk64 is the goat.

I would say DS and 8 are the best ones, but Super is still better than at the absolute least 64, SC, and 7.

They are both outdated by CTR, DKR and the following Mario Kart sequels.

Been checking around websites for best time rankings, and it seems my childhood scores are actually pretty damn good. I'm getting concerned about losing them via battery death.

Nothing really special about this one, just flat terrain is not enough for memorable tracks or gameplay mechanics, the controls are a bit too slippery too but it's not too bad, I can't take seriously anyone saying that this one is above all the others mario karts (bar Super Circuit, because they're in the same league).
