What's the best retro DB game?

Super Butoden 2.

But I also like all the RPGs on Famicom/SFC and Game Boy, as well as Buu Yuu Retsuden on Megadrive, Super Gokuu-den 1 and 2, Butoden 3 and Hyper Dimension on SFC, and Legends on Playstation.

The only really bad DBZ games I played were Final Bout and Ultimate Battle 22.
Shin Butoden on Saturn was a disappointiment, but was still OK, not as bad as UB22.

All the fighting games are.
The RPGs and Goku-den games have english fan-translations.

Buu's Fury.

Fighting: Super Budoden 2 and Hyper Dimension SNES.
DBZ the Legend or Legends for the Saturn(or psx, but psx is worse graphic wise with the auras and special attacks looking much worse than the saturn)

RPG: Gokuden series and that gbc one

The Super Gokuden look good, but they almost play by themselves. Mostly text and some easy battles.

It's the most traditional one, for sure, but Butoden series are also clearly fighting games, and more unique due to dashing and the split screen.
I personally like Butoden 2 better, but HD comes 2nd place when it comes to DBZ fighting games.

But the other games also have great music, since they were all done by the same guy/group of musicicans. In fact, UB22, Shin Butoden and Final Bout all have new arrangements of older Butoden music.

The Super Gokuu-den games also have great music, also by the same people.

Forgot the name of the gameboy gsmes, but there were 3 for the 3 main arcs. They had the original Funimation dialogue and music, shit was so cash.

Vegito vs Buu music had 11 year old me bumping my head for hours.
