Can Dracula be completely destroyed, or will he always be resurrected again?
Maybe the Belmonts could seal Dracula in a large safe and sink the safe in a deep ocean trench. Then Dracula would couldn't be resurrected.

Julius Belmont literally killed Dracula forever before Aria.
Unless you count Soma as him being alive
>>3880824
Never seen the Belmonts try one of these. Might be worth a shot.

>Can Dracula be completely destroyed, or will he always be resurrected again?
If the game at least somewhat ties in with the canon Dracula, then I assume Dracula is indeed immortal, provided his remains can be readily assembled and subjected to whatever rites of resurrection are performed on them.
I didn't frankly understand the purpose of this in Simon's Quest. Why did Simon resurrect Dracula only to re-kill him? How does this do anything to disrupt or potentially break the cycle of Dracula's resurrection?
vlad tepesh was finally put to rest in 1999.
right after though, his power spread to a bunch of babies that were born the same day or some shit.
all of the babies grew up to be very fashionable

Simon had been cursed by Dracula. Resurrecting and killing Dracula was supposed to lift the curse.
You need to assemble all the fragments of the Darkhold then reverse engineer the Montessi formula.
We're never gonna get that 1999 game, are we? :(

no more than any person's soul can be destoryed in a game made by japanese people who believe in buddhist reincarnation I suppose
>>3880824
Since Konami was successful in doing so i'm guessing he can be destroyed....
According to Soma's games, Dracula's body isn't immortal, but his soul is. What happened in 1999 is that they trapped the castle inside a lunar eclipse (or something like that) and killed Dracula for the final time. Without the castle to keep him body in a state that could be resurrected, he just died.

Motherfucker personally hangs out with Death what do you think.
Also, JoJo references aside, the coffin-to-the-bottom-of-the-ocean thing usually doesn't work on the long run
>>3882271
Death challenged him to a dance-off.
>>3882271
>JoJo reference
>>3881048
But doesn't his castle come back in the Soma games?
>>3882492
yea but its not ok
>>3881164
>>3880824
Only as long as the games sell.
Yes, yes you can. You can even kill the Belmonts at the sametime.
>>3882542
I actually have those issues. I think I'm going to reread them now.
>>3880824
>Can Dracula be completely destroyed
Just leave it to Julius.
NOT RETRO
But I thought was Graham was a great villain. He thought he was Dracula and was most likely Schizo. And the whole church preacher looks was a nice touch.

Yeah, the white one was harder than Ganon by far
>>171824423
Would be cool if for an attack they could fit out some minor guardian enemy that would harass you and get in the way of you deflecting let blasts>>3881046
Underrated
>>3880824
If they did that he'd gain time powers and move Castlevnia to Egypt.
>>3882743
>needs to bring a whole army with him to slay Dracula
lmao
>>3883460
And a Japanese shrine.
And maybe a certain half-vampire.
Still he did play a role.
>>3880824
>Can Dracula be completely destroyed
No, because that'd be the end of the franchise.
>>3883460
>bring a whole army with him to slay Dracula
That actually sounds pretty bad ass. Dracula is expecting to fight one fag with a whip, instead 5,000 crusaders show up and start bombarding his castle with holy water fired from trebuchets.
>>3884438
>game about Crusaders that siege Draculas castle
I would play the fuck outta that
>>3880824
>Can Dracula be completely destroyed
No but the Castlevania franchise can and is. Thanks 3d games.
>>3884456
T-the netflix series will make Castlevania great again. R-right guys?
>>3884495
Ningen please. It is not being animated like Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust so there is no point. It's going to be complete shit.
>>3882542
Man, imagine a castlevania like Dr. Strange games where he slowly learns more spells and fights all of Marvel's supernatural characters... would be a fun game. Wayforward could pull it off.
>>3884660
>end game reveals that you started the Belmont line down its fateful path
>dracula is some kind of abstract metaphysical horror
>he has a son
>>3883460
they would have shown up anyway considering it's modern times, a giant castle just showed up out of nowhere, and demons just started pouring out of it.
>>3884727
he is a man in control of abstract metaphysical horror.what is a man?his penis
>>3882731
Underrated post.
>>3880841
wow, the other human being who read Darkhold!
>>3880824
as long as the Big D has fanboys out there like Shaft and Carmilla to worship him and sacrifice virgin chicks, Dracula will return.
>>3886151
Clearly the Belmont clan should just rape all the virgins so there's nobody fit to be sacrificed.
