Thq Famicom most of those samples made on tracker modules were usually made from scratch within the tracker itself, with the exception of a 303/808/909 sample, no? Yea, I would consider demoscene music more as chiptunes but I wouldn't consider the orchestral soundtracks on Final Fantasy 4/5/6 as one even if I am talking more of style than substance in that regard.
