I had older cousins who played the shit outta that game, but I was too young to get into tycoons. I always wanted to try it since but somehow just never got round to it.

I remember Dino Park Tycoon with equal fondness, though I'd spend more of my time reading the scientific articles on the dinos than actually playing.

i do remember it fondly. it was tough but very rewarding. typing the telephone numbers was great. so much humor and so many details to enjoy. so complicated, so much freedom yet so silly and light-hearted.
