I just got my hand on the boxed copy of Heroes III and look at that box content. You got everything from a big manual to an overlay for a Pc dash controller. You get a creature generator reference card and a flyer for a tournament. I guess I´m late for the party but the price money was 50.000 German Marks. The whole box is a time capsule back to a more peacefull time.
ITT: We show pics of nice big boxes
That foldable thing is a full reference card for all creature generators and their dependencies. On the backside are the remaining factions.
The manual has over 200 pages of has nice little artworks that are nowhere to be found in the game. I guess they were drawn specifically for this book and I´ve never seen them before.
NWC looking for the german champion. I suck at this game so even if it would be 1999 it sure wouldn´t be me. I still love playing it so, I got it as a nice-price cd only version back in the days.
Here is the installation tutorial, the actual game and the overlay for the Saitek thingy. Anyone had that when it came out? I´ve never seen one in real life.
Since most of you can´t read german I guess I will translate the red bulletpoints for you from the back of the box.
-> Never seen grafics with stunning hight resolution 800x600
-> engrossing gameplay
-> Yet more options!
->Realistic animations with the new TOP technology
-> Better multiplayer options
Interesting enough is that they actually list internet play as an option.
That´s it for HoMM3.
I would kill for a nice boxed copies of Might and Magic 3-8
