Aesthetics only. Except in MS4, Nadias and Trevors melee attack gave you less points, and Trevor stopped in place when doing a melee, because he did karate to punch people apart instead of using a knife/taser.

ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A SINGLE UNIT is a fucking crime. Sure YOU nor I will pay for that crap, but you know some people out there are. Like some old chinese man leading an empty life, working the rest of his life away buying some stupid bullshit on SNK's shop while taking care of his family. Or even a poor old woman. Anyone of either gender, any ethnicity, whatever walk of life... It's ruining not just one but many lives when they could be playing a real game like we're used to. But no, they don't know any of that happiness, they only know of paying money for in-game currencies, weapons, and units.
