What are some super easy games that I can play just to walk around and look at the scenery? Examples: any Kirby game, any game made by Nifflas, old Apogee platformers on easy settings.

That's what Ecco Jr pretty much is, though it doesn't look as good as the main games and I find it too boring.

A few months back my friend was trying to get his kid to get to wind down and get to sleep. So he told her to think of something boring and she replied "Okay I'll think about No Man's Sky!"
World of Illusion.

i feel sorry for the dev honestly. Sony invested a trillion into ads so he felt he had to lie. Its a good game but it was overhyped to the nth degree and thats why everyones dissapointed. Idk what they expected, all he lied about was multiplayer.

Yeah it sounds like a small but ambitious passion project made by a couple guys who got in over their heads when money started rolling in. Hopefully it leads to a sequel or new version that builds upon the foundation to make something more interesting.

Good point about JRPGs. Puzzle games like DROD are also fair game. I just don't like twitch-based gameplay and replaying the same screens over and over.
