FUCK YOU

thats nothing
>>3843785
Those items completely destroy the difficulty though. If you win them without save states, you've earned it.
>>3843846
It's not like the game is overly difficult as it is.
First time i played it when it came out i actually managed to get it
>>3843785
Turning Mario into crap with this game
>>3843785
How about dodging 200 thunders?
>>3846189
Not retro, but it's easily do able since you can dodge a few and then pause the game and take a break. That is what I did. Plus, there is a certain spot where you can run in a circle and the lightning will always trigger at the same spot.
arggghghahhgahgahhgahgh

Legitimately impossible through normal human input. I couldn't even do it with the coin trick or anything, still have to use a turbo controller.
Also, pic related, no idea if it's in the N64 version though.
>>3846557
Bullshit. I do that all the time legitimately, up to and including the 'impossible point' when you catch the cold from Johnny.
>>3846563
If you can mash that fast with your fingers alone you must be the Adventure Island guy because no other human on Earth has reflexes that fast.
>>3846589
hey hey, you're talking to fingerblaster fred there, pal
he's left more shredded vaginas in his wake than the giant baby outbreak of '47

Don't ever play Evangelion 64.
>>3843794
Not once in all these years have I been able to do that. I can't get the timing down at all.
>>3846589
m8, it's lemon squeezy. Most players can do it. You could do it, you just could never be arsed figuring it out.
You're probably thinking you have to press the button like you normaly would or something, but of course you have to move your hand into a different position and do things differently. If you're just using your thumb to do normal button presses you'd probably never get it.
>>3846589
I couldn't even find a pic of the proper knuckles down button mashing technique. Best I could find was this reddit tier "claw method"
>>3843785
Basically impossible to do on an emulator, anyway, since all of the input timing is off.
>>3847646
nothing videogame related makes me more angry then people who hold their controllers like retards
especially the kind that complains the controllers are too small, because they are holding them like they have several additional chromosomes
pic related
>>3848643
That is literally the proper way to hold a PS controller. Forgot to take your meds today eh kid?
>>3848667
I played PSX when you were still in your dads sack you doublenigger
pic related is proper way period
>>3846498
I managed to do that part for my lil bro. I never played mgs but I don't want to. that part gave me wrist pains for a day.
>>3849017
if you can`t see the difference you are clinically retarded
>>3849025
Sick backpedal.

>Legitimately impossible through normal human input
I've done it many times.
>>3847646
We're categorizing hand movements according to websites now?
This place is getting more autistic by the day.
>>3846589
I'm honored you think that, but as you can see from many other anons here, it's not impossible, you just didn't figure out the proper method.
The worst of these in SMRPG for me was playing the fucking casino game where you have to look a certain direction a hundred fucking times in a row.
You get a sweet star-thing that dances and takes 200HP from all enemies. Really makes the last several boss battles too easy.
>>3849017
>>3849025
He's right you know. You are an idiot.
>>3849570
It's not 100 times in a row, just overall. They do not have to be consecutive.
>>3850442
Now he tells me
I wonder if Metal Gear Solid was the first game where I mastered the vibrating hand technique
I've heard talk of Japanese wizards who can reach repetitions of 20 times per second and beyond, but such a feat is surely the result of madness.
