Is it cheese to use the holy water?

When I was a kid I thought it was the worst subweapon. Stunlocking does take technique so it's not cheese exactly but they definitely made it better in the first game than maybe they meant to in hindsight

I actually use this same mentality for save-warping back to the first screen when I'm about to die in Zelda so the death counter will be at zero.
