I want to replay FF7. Which is the best version? The original

I'd say original version because of weird bugs on PC like open mouths and inferior music which has to be modded. There's not really that much difference though overall.

PC version with music rollback mod but without character model update mod - or just Playstation version if you run into the slightest trouble with the PC version.

I see this gayme memed all the time on the internet, played it for a little while and didn´t find anything great about it. I remember my friends calling it emo at the time yet placing it on a pedestal.
What is so great about it? I am interested in your perspective.

Full 3d jrpg/adventure game with something like 2 hours worth of cgi cutscenes and 40+ hours for a single play through in the mid/late 90s. No surprise it blew everyone away. It also had an interesting story with memorable characters and one of the best magic system on the series and only edgy contrarian underage b& who are too young to remember it being released call it overrated.

PSX version without a doubt. The PC has some bugs like music desync, especially at the end end of the first disc

PSX version with Beacause translation patch.
