well to be honest I didn't exactly do measurements for the shelf so the consoles have a tight fit, but as for carts, I use flashcarts, and theres enough space to get my hands into the cd tray of my ps1 and saturn.

um, if anything, it's perfect and suitable for my purposes. I didn't want the thing 10 feet above the floor, I set it at the perfect height for my couch.
like I said, I don't have any problems changing carts or cd's since there is a few inches of space to get my hands into the cd loaders and I never change carts as I use flash carts. sorry you don't like the stand anon.

and it's a LOT better than what I had before. had the tv just sitting on the floor, with the consoles just messily sitting on top of the tv.

Cheap basic Logitech pc speakers are fine, don't worry so much. I listen with good headphones 99% of the time anyway.

Without a ton of space, I unfortunately can't have the Dream game room I'd like, so instead this is my living room setup. The XRGB is predominately used for capturing footage, as I refer the look of a real CRT.
