Because no new retro game stuff is being made! What are we getting? The NES mini, and the tectoy special edition genesis, both very limited run items.

The reason we don't have cheaper shumps is because there's nothing like Cave or Toaplan making their own mini system!

Also, it's just as expensive on yahoo auctions, if not worse. That's not usual; I've seen japanese games for very cheap on yahoo auctions that were very expensive on ebay or play asia (though the latter is made up of jews).
