Oh I guess I mixed up the one that came out just after Dreamcast died. I was sure it would have been on the Dreamcast if it hadn't been discontinued so that's probably why I remembered it that way.

That's a rail shooter. Check out Omega Boost.

To this day, no other shmup matched the atmosphere of Einhander.

I highly recommend if you want to start with shoot em up's on a high note.
