This. They're all mostly good, but Ghouls just works well as a standalone title and doesn't suffer from slowdown like Super. Also, you can shoot upwards, which is handy. The game doesn't feel so stiff.

"Daimakaimura" on the Supergrafx is the best home port of Ghouls hands down.
