Really? That's strange. Usually 2P STGs are the easiest way to hook someone into the genre since they're dying a lot less by following your lead and are actually being able to do their share of shooting as well.

It's the 1P only ones like R-Type that are difficult to recommend since they require more strategy to survive, which adds more frustration to the learning curve.

Stage 7 I believe from R-Type Delta. It's trippy as hell and suggests I believe that the aliens have been watching humanity for a long time.
