We always get threads of recent finds, but I'd like to see the rarest item in your collection. Not necessarily the thing that's worth the most money, but the thing you think no one else in the world has.

I'll start. This is a box of 4 other boxes. Each box contains 6 NES games in their original packaging. This is how the games were shipped from the factory to the retailers.

Ya lucky motherfucker

>>

>>3817759
That's one jealous motherfucker right there. Also, /vr/ has been shit for years.
>>
>>3817773
Obvious troll is obvious. He's probably upset because mods have been cracking down on this kind of trolling...
>>
>>3817682
I have a gameboy with a screw hole in the screen. I don't think anyone else in the world has one of those. kek

>rare

there's literally warehouses full of shovelware like that.
>>
I just found an unopened copy of Vampire: The masquerade for $0.25 a month ago at a used bookstore. Came with soundtrack.

I picked up a sealed Jagged Alliance 2 as well for a quarter.

Not super rare, but I was proud.

What is it?

Another picture of the box for y'all. Keep searching! Stuff is in the weirdest places.
>>
>>3818462
Where did you find them?
>>
>>3818131
Pretty sure no one classifies Adventure Island as shovelware, dude.
>>
>>3818462
>>3817682
Adventure island 1 AND 2?
FUUUUUUUU
>>
I have a few dozen prototypes (ranging from what seem to likely be in-house development versions to pre-release/review/promotional samples) for various consoles, of varying degrees of uniqueness.
>>
>>3818462
It's a Pioneer GOL-1 3D headset for Laseractive
>>
>>3818474
These are in a museum. They were donated to the museum. Someone had them in their garage for 30 years.

These aren't as rare as the 100 Million sold pin but for that price I had to buy everything he had.

Or mothafukken Dino Riki. I live that game.

A fellow gramps AND a Laseractive owner? Nice!

I've got a Laseractive I picked up years ago for $60.

Found a couple of LD games at my local Half Price Books, mixed in with regular LDs - $5 a pop. They had no idea what they had.
>>
>>3819014
Whoa, great find. Always check the laserdiscs at Half Price Books and Amoeba

I've posted this here before, but I guess I'll post it again - I've got a Rival Schools standee that was gifted to me by some friends at an Electronics Boutique back in '97.

Dunno if it's rare, but I suppose it's uncommon. The thing stands about 6 1/2 feet tall or so.
>>
>>3821965
Standees of any sort are uncommon by virtue of the fact that stores either dispose of them or RTV them when they're done. The vendors of course would end up tossing them as well. Add in how old your Rival Schools standee is and I'd say it's probably a rarity as most people only have old display items for Mario, Sonic, etc.

Sweet. Glad I kept it over the years. Had numerous offers on it, but never gave them any consideration. Had it folded away inside a closet for the longest time. Bought a house and into my office it went!

I picked up a Debug PS2 slim for $50 in November from a thrift store. Everyone passed over it thinking it was just a normal PS2 slim.

Where's Suiseiseki?!
>>
>>3825939
Awesome find, my man. I love it when shops are slipping and things get over looked.

SuperBombliss.jpg

This.
It's not very interesting or expensive but it sure is unusual.
It's the regular GB Bombliss but with a special border for the Super Game Boy.
>>
>>3827458
Man what a drab label.
>>
>>3827458
WTF? Is it any good? That's the only difference?
>>
>>3827957
That's what got me interested in first place.
Looked like some weird developer thing, turns out it was just copyrights of every game developer in the face of Earth.

>>3828358
It's just like the Super Bombliss on the GB.
I don't have the regular Japanese version nor a SGB to test both out, but it says "Super Bombliss (Japan) (SGB Enhanced)"
>>
>>3822324
What is this? Some variant of the Net Yaroze?
>>
>>3829093
It's a testing console. It has no region lock or copy protection, other than that it's the same as a regular PS1
>>
>>3817682
I have 2 copies out of 500 of a Duelin Firemen 7" vinyl promo. Has a song by boredoms who were my favorite band when I bought them.
>>
>>3822324
pretty snazzy
>>
>>3822017
Also, Rival Schools is awesome.
>>
>>3821965
Beautiful.
