First time a death hit me hard in /vr/ was probably Rachel's final death in FFVI. She's not even a major character, it's just that one of your party members lives his entire life trying to atone for his failure and when he does manage to bring her back, she simply absolves him of his guilt. I think I was a little too young to fully grasp the situation back then, and while I wasn't really sad, I was still sort of worn out by the whole scene.

Much, much later, Terranigma's ending hit me pretty hard too. Spend one last day in your hometown, which will cease to exist. You set the overworld on its path, but the world you came from has no place here.

i was always sad about the ghost that talks to you in the first stage of Pinball Quest

Nah. That scene was pretty sad, but overall, FF4 just didn't move me as much as 6. I didn't feel as much of a connection with the characters.

But Final Fantasy VI, oh wow. I cried during the ending cutscene, I cried when learning about Shadow's backstory, I cried at Rachel's death, I cried during the cutscene where Locke remembers Rachel falling, the little flashes of Setzer's past when you're going to get the second airship, I think I teared up a little bit when entering the final dungeon and realizing that my quest was almost over... holy fuck was I ever an emotional kid. And just for emphasis, this is what I was like BEFORE I started hormones. Chrono Trigger was another video game that made me cry a bunch. Oh, and Final Fantasy VII. And Undertale. Yeah I cry a lot, #justgirlthings.

It's supposed to be the LX-III helicopter from Thunder Storm, just like how the first Double Dragon had the LX-V interceptor from Road Avenger. The levels in DD2AC made no sense anyway. They just pasted new backgrounds over the existing level structure from the first game and changed a few things (mostly just the traps and level transition sequence) with no sense in how they're all connected. Why is there a heliport a top a lumber storehouse next to a farm, which happens to located near a elaborate mansion that serves as the hideout of a biker gang?
