SNES or PS1 version?

Fuck me and my bro used to play this on the snes for hours.

I really enjoyed it, except for the fact that turns take forever so I always fell asleep when he would take a turn.

I heard the load times are pretty minor on the PS1 and Saturn versions and both have extra content.

What about the Windows version?

I don't know about any version differences, but I played the shit out of rtk4 on ps1. Once I learned that created officers could keep learned skills across multiple playthroughs I started building an army of perfect officers. Also rapid crossbows and lightning were broken as fuck.
