Just replayed NES Contra, but not THAT Contra that jusy poped in your mind, but Contra Force (Or also known as Super Contra 6)
I was always a fan of Contra Force, though deep down i did felt like it doesn't really fit in the series.
Just recently found out, that originally KONAMI planned to release this game under title "ARC HOUND" but last minute slapped a Contra logo on it for US market.
Still, best Contra (Or call it Contra spin off) for me. Even did the video replaying it! (With epic ending)

Snake Rattle n' Roll got a MD version in Euroland
Just realized that Contra Force and Super Contra 6 is NOT exactly the same game.
I remember the characters different, different icons, and yes, I played Super Contra 6 rather then Contra Force.
The character selection screen I'd different from the one in the video.

This game runs like shit at 60hz. Strongly considering putting a 50/60hz switch on my genesis for this one game.

What's difference does it make? 50 vs 60?
>>3804603
60hz is 20% faster than 50hz.

That I know! But how does this speeds up the games frame rate? Or it's overall how smooth the game run?
>>3803491
What's with the huge as fuck facecam? It's larger than the game screen.

Nes resolution is to small. Stretch game screen any bigger and the game starts to look shit.
Unless there is a way to scale up the game without loosing quality.

There is a way to upscale games through the emulator. Up to 4K even
