I'm playing the PC version of Rayman 2. Not the GOG version.
I'm ~50% through the game and at the end of The Echoing Caves pic-related pops up. The game still plays, but even if you do finish the level it won't let you break the last cage.
I am using a legit CD and it is in my computer.
I've searched around and apparently it's a common bug. I've tried a few patches that are supposed to fix it but nothing happens. Even the forum posts I've found say they don't work.
Does anyone here know how to fix it?

Find a No CD patch or pirate the GoG version and play that.

The GOG version took my save and it worked.
I was hoping for a real solution instead of changing the answer, but at least I can finish the game now.

A few mini-games, 60fps, nice analog controls. PC version is a close second best honestly, can't go wrong with either compared to the other ports.

Don't forget everything has 3D models on Dreamcast whereas the other versions just use sprites for items and other stuff.
