TGM is more casual.

>RGN is designed specifically to prolong gameplay by preventing long series of bad pieces from appearing
>Fucking sliding

If it's anything like the GB implementation, the RNG gets entropy from hardware (probably not the case on the NES), and it tries a reroll if the RNG produces the same number consecutively. GB minimizes repeats, not "bad pieces", whatever those are.

My bad, I should add that I've been playing GB Tetris the last couple weeks and I've only been able to break 200 lines and 300k once since then.

>whatever those are.

Z is the bad piece because it's not as versatile as other pieces. But with modern Tetris games, every piece is a good piece because the RGN spoils the player in addition to the tons of other gimmicks like sliding, rotating the tetrads after they've already landed, etc.

Ain't gunna post shit. Because this is memory of the old GB Tetris.

But the best I ever managed was 230k.
No fucking clue how anyone gets higher. Because those blocks drop at the speed of fucking light eventually.

Whats an RGN?!

No proof since the carts don't save, but my highscore is about 250,000, and I regularly go about 180,000.

My dad though he was pretty good so I challenged him to a multiplayer game, and proceeded to wreck him.
The final score was like 200k to 60k.
