Not every popular retro game appeals to everyone. Post popular retro games you hate and why. I'll start with these games.
Earthbound: Its too silly and simple for a jrpg. I prefer fantasy themes and mature stories in jrpgs.
Zelda OOT: i find it boring, empty and easy. Without the music its a mediocre game.
Sonic / Mario: Gets boring after an hour or so.
You forgot to include MGS and FF7, but still a good recipe for a completely shit thread that will probably get 100+ replies

Just my opinion, chill. I like MGS.
I've never really liked Mega Man, I just don't find it very engaging or intuitive. Might be to do with the difficulty I perceive from it. I generally like platformers and don't have a problem with bullet hell, etc. I think Metal Slug or Gunstar Heroes are good, it's just Mega Man I don't really care for so not really a sub-genre thing either.
Every 3D Zelda game.
Every 3D Final Fantasy game.
Every Mario game except Paper.
I think that's it.

This thread is doomed.I never liked any 3D platformer though
I think Sonic the Hedgehog is a shitty platformer. Sure it goes fast and whatnot, but I like to take my time on the actual platforming, and the Sonic levels are simply not designed for such things.
Despite being a big Treasure fan I've never been able to really get into Gunstar Heroes. I guess because it's so hectic, especially in multiplayer, and because although the weapon combo system is cool certain weapon combos are obviously so much better than others.
I'm too stupid to into RTS, for similar reasons why I'm shit at chess.
I totally understand the game mechanics/rules, I just get overwhelmed by the openness. I never know what the best course of action is for my own benefit, or to counter whatever my opponent is doing, and I soon end up realising that I've wasted my resources/time doing the wrong thing.
Mortal Kombat
Both Sonic Adventure

Sorry mate, I don't think I hate any game I've played, they lie deep beneath my heart.
