Never played these, but heard good things. Are they had to learn?

How do they compare to Caesar III or Pharaoh ?
Caesar III had huge flaws, like the absence of convenient roadblocks.
Pharaoh was so comfy and addictive. I recently played it so much I began hallucinating heavily about the game and dreaming about it. When I was with friends, I was thinking of their optimal placement, and to link them with roads and services. I was actually scary.

If they are like Pharaoh, it is not hard to play it and even finish it. But then you'll try to create a perfect housing block and you'll eventually get crazy.
I've always preferred Sim City 2000 to all the Impressions builders. Pharaoh is pretty good, but I think SC2K just kind of nailed everything as far as the genre goes. I'm a bit disappointed no openxcom/openrct2/etc. style project has spun up around SC2K yet.

Anybody like Zeus the most? It's my personal favorite impressions city builder. I think it's almost exactly the same as Pharaoh but with a greek theme, and I like the ancient greece theme more.
Also, anyone who played Caesar 2 tell us something about it. I've heard good things, but how does it compare to Pharaoh/Zeus?
Caesar 2 was what I played all the time as a kid, but it's older than all the others mentioned ITT and can be very unfair in execution. You'll definitely need some patience.
