i was talking with a friend of mine who knows a lot about coding shit and from them i hear that even IF we had the source code, all the heavy modifications monolith made to the BUILD engine code they had were done mostly in assembly and so itd still take ages to decode that mess to make a source port

Does vertical aiming in Blood just suck? Even with bmouse, it feels like it doesn't register the y axis unless it's moving fast enough. Shadow Warrior worked perfectly in DOSbox, oddly enough.

IIRC there are two different settings in setup.exe to change sensibility, not just one. Have you tried fiddling with both?
