I remember having way more fun on Game Boy than on NES.
TetrisDS

Texas Instrument has a rare calculator with a port of tetris that Ive been looking for...
Shapes and Columns for the glorious Master System.
>>3784304
I like how pretty it looks.
Teris DX is pretty fun.

Aka: fuck tetris

>>3784301
Despite not being retro, Tetris DS is legitimately the best version of Tetris I've ever played.
>>3786834
>can infinitely spin a tetrimino in place to keep it from being set, giving you infinite time
Tetris DS a shit.
>>3784261
Nothing beats the GB one to me.
It has everything you need right there, simple and perfect.
>>3784261
The Tengen NES one was the best Tetris.
Columns 1 was the comfiest tetris clone (we just called it colour-tetris).
Puyo Puyo Tsuu and Sun are the best competitive ones.
>>3784261
The tetris that came out on PSN around 2012 or so
>>3784261
Tengen Tetris
Bradinsky best BGM, though BPS' Technotris is still better.
Only just realised a few years back that the dancing folk music was a rendition of Katyusha.
>>3787045
Wasn't that the one that had fucking framerate issues in a fucking Tetris game on the fucking PS4?
The Tetris in Tetris and Dr. Mario is pretty much a 1/1 SNES clone of GB Tetris, in the best way possible. I'm also very partial to Tetris Battle Gaiden if I'm feeling wacky.
>>3784261
I only had the Game Boy version growing up, so it was definitive. And the music on Game Boy is iconic, so there's that.
It's not /vr/, but Tetris DS was excellent, and it probably the best version of the game I've ever played.
>>3784412
This is my favorite Tetris.
>>3787526
I really hope they are going to make a western Vita release for it
>>3784261
Gameboy is the definitive, but Tetris & Dr. Mario on SNES is the best.
>>3786907
If it only saved your score
>>3788418
Pretty sure it does. Isn't it just the battery dying?
>>3788447
Nope, gb tetris doesn't save scores.
>>3789937
Huh. You just saved me about 8 dollaroos. Thanks
>That fucking noise when you get five lines on Tetris and Dr. Mario
Should be in every Tetris, literally perfect.
>>3784261
Tetris CD-i, mate. Just listen to this OST:

In all honesty though, Tengen Tetris is best.
>>3790392
Holy god in heaven this music is fantastic. I'm a believer now. All hail the Great Tetris Slab!
>>3790367
When and how and where can i witness this literal perfection?
I want to play Tetrisphere someday.
>>3790132
not that guy, but i would agree with you in saying it is the most pure form of tetris
>>3784304
I don't like the fact it's designed more for competition than for fun.
