The AI is so easy to exploit. Get into a trade where the computer has already accepted the trade and is waiting on you to click yes. Bring up your properties screen and mortgage all of the properties you are trading to the comp. Then click accept and the computer will now have to spend extra to unmortgage the properties you just traded while you get to keep the cash from the mortgage. Since the comp had already agreed to the trade, they can't uncheck agree as long as you don't cancel out of the trade screen.
The computer won't mortgage properties when landing on a deed owned by the bank or during proceeding auction, but you can. Once the cpu has little cash on hand you can exploit this for cheap properties.

Monopoly does take skill, you dip. Sometimes luck can screw you to the point where you can't do anything, but 90% of the time, you can win through skilled trades and wise investments
