Is this likely to be an oldcrow modchip given the date?
Also, worth getting?

Meh. It may very well be an anti-piracy modchip (one that plays imported games but not homemade burns).
The kind of shady places that were using the real modchip didn't put labels at all, in my experience.

It's just a label, Man. All you can be sure of without opening it up is that the place was trying to self promote. It's funny, now that my shady import shop has finally completely disappeared I kind of wish I had some of their Games On Main promo materials.
OP here.
Thanks for the input guys. It's a pretty good price for a working 1002, modded or not, so I may pick it up regardless. I just hoped someone might have known what PlayStation mods were around back when I was 18 (and not the slightest bit into gaming)
CEX has obviously gone super-normie in recent years but it's nice to see a reminder of the good old days when there wasn't a branch on pretty much every high street.

What chip did you go for and was stealth a thing back then?
