i know its not a rare game, bought it for $5 on a store.
should i open it? :p
>>3781720
yes, and post pictures of you doing it on some place like NintendoAge so they get all butthurt about it
are you going toplay it?
>>3781726
of course, if i open it.
>>3781720
Webm of you slicing clean in half with a katana.
>>3781730
well i could...
no wait lol
It's an okay port, and neat for the time it released given most people may not have had GLQuake capable PCs back then. It also has it's own soundtrack, still weird and ambient, but done with MIDI and not by Reznor.
>>3781720
burn it, and then get a flashcart like a good boy.
No
Keep it sealed and play the rom with a flashcart
Sell it and buy an open copy
>>3781720
just open it,
its not like the ninty manchildren give a shit about quake
>>3782043
This. Is opening the seal worth $30-40?
>>3781741
>but done with MIDI and not by Reznor.
>MIDI
reeeeee...?
>>3781720
Why bother? It's not even a good game.
>>3782043
Sell it and buy a flashcart more like.
Fair warning, there could be a freezer pack in there.
But if you do, do this >>3781725
>>3781720
if you dont plan on selling it then who gives a shit enjoy the game
>>3781735
of course you own a katana
>playing Quake on a control pad
>playing Quake at all
>>3782328
Quake 2 looked alright for an N64 game. I think the maps may have been cut down but the multiplayer was alright too.
>>3782342
Quake 2 was a totally different game on N64. Also it looked more colorful than the PC version at the time since it supported 24-bit color, while Voodoos only did 16-bit color
>>3782308
>4chan
what did you expect
>>3782271
Agreed.
>>3781725
i should do this
i been hording shit just to make a YT vid of me opening sealed shit
too bad i already opened my chibi robo, DW 2 and DW 4. i had to play them and games are meant to be opened and used.
hurts the most to see fucking VGA graded shit that will never ever move and it gets damaged if you try to open it.
>>3782438
Trying to blame the game's shitty ass color palette on hardware limitations? The game looks like shit no matter what.
>>3781720
Yeah, open it.
That's what videogames are made for, to be played.
I understand the "keep it in the box" mentality with figures or something but videogames are functional items.
>>3783972
A hammer and icepick will let you get stuff out of VGA just fine,.
>>3784115
its also overpriced
you can buy something mint CIB for like 10 times less than VGA graded bullshit
>>3781720
MINT IN BOX NIGGER
DOWNLOAD THE ROM AND PLAY IT ON PROJECT SIXTY FOUR
SELL IT ON EBAY FOR $500
LIKE GIGA WING 2
FUCK YOU
>>3782328
>>3782342
>>3782438
I playewd Q2 on n64 in 1999 or 2000, I remember I was in 4th grade and I barely remember much of it except it was WAY different than the PC version, totally different maps and final boss and such...
i vaguely remember being able to dismember enmneies which i couildnt do on the PC version, like decapititate them and shoot off their arms and shit, and this was part of the final boss fight.
You could easily sell it, buy a plain cartridge (or a better game), and still make a profit.
>>3781720
Play it and be thankful it's not the Saturn version.
>>3781720
I'm also a collector, but i always unseal games i buy sealed. Releasing them from their prison and open them the ability to get played.
Fuck those sealed hoarder.
Only good thing about sealed games is, that you know quite sure that it's original and working, especially on disc games..
So i always try to get sealed games first, if they are not complete retard high prices.
>>3784079
Nah it doesn't make sense with figures either because most statues don't have window boxes and articulated figures are meant to be posed and displayed.
>>3785516
Wait, what!?
>>3782162
>implying reznor didn't use MIDI to sequence literally every single thing he ever did
>>3785658
The description isn't much better.
I got a brand new never opened doom 64 game, but already own a loose cart so i don't plan on opening it, even if its tempting. I mean its 2017 so how many chances are you going to have to open up a brand new 64 game? Its like going back in time.... ugh so tempting :P
>>3785549
i hate seeing really rare shit that is VGA graded
its like being frozen in time, but aware of everything
>>3785662
Wasn't referring to the production of the soundtrack and I'm splitting hairs when people refer to tracker modules as "MIDI" (even if they were sequence prior).
