I opened my original DMG Gameboy to prepare a backlight mod, and when I wanted to screw the LCD back together, like a blind idiot I screwed into that hole that clearly states that it is not for a screw. (see photo) Now my LCD has a black mark because of it! What should I do?

Kek what a dumbass. Just buy a new one and don't mod it, you're obviously not qualified
Either build a time machine or buy a new screen.
Buy a new screen.
As for the screen, well...

OP here. Yeah I was a dumbass indeed.... I've actually modded many systems already, it's just that I didn't see that the hole wasn't intended for a screw. I partly blame Nintendo for making that hole look exactly like a screw target!

The screw holes are ALL circled, dumbass.
i figured that out by the very first Gameboy I worked on. Modded many systems already my ass.
I will sell you a already modded one, Anon. At 150% of my regular rate, just because you are an idiot.
>>3781195
Why would you do that when it clearly states that it is not for a screw?
I can't believe that screen is still working. I say order a new screen but then go ahead and see if you can drill all the way through without busting any of the rest of the screen, maybe with a red hot drill bit. Then you could drive a nail all the way through it or make up some story about it stopping a bullet and get it put on display next to that Iraq GB.

>>3781195
Help you with what exactly?
>>3781195
i accidentally drilled your mom
>>3781195
What exactly are we supposed to do?
You destroyed that part of the screen. Tuff shit.
It's gone, can only get a new one or get used to the little hole, makes it unique at least...

>>3781195
Retarded faggot. Lol
Unfortunately I don't think you can get replacement parts that look authentic, at least not at this point in time.
I would recommend you buy a broken/parts-only Game Boy off eBay. Should be easy to find for $10 or less, then just replace the screen with the one from the broken system.
It's always better to use parts from a broken system to repair another one, than to have two broken systems.
>>3781195
You can't fix that lol you doubleretard. Buy a replacement screen.
>>3781195
Live with it. You made your bed, now sleep in it.
>>3781895
Where can you buy replacement screens?
Do they make new ones?

y u mad tho
can't u laugh at ur own ridiculousness
The fuck you mean "no screw"?
>>3783415
I'm not the anon you think I am.
I just like replying to your picture whenever i see it with the picture I posted.
>>3781195
Why do I feel like you are expecting someone to post a solution where your screen claims its hole back
What the fuck
>>3781195
>What should I do?
Learn to accept your Gameboy's new belief in Hinduism.
>>3781195
Let go.
>>3781235
>I partly blame Nintendo for making that hole look exactly like a screw target!
You can tell that it's not a screw target because there's a picture of a screw with an X over it right next to the hole with an arrow pointing at the hole
>>3781195
Just find a replacement screen and swap them, no big deal. However, I must say that this thread made my day, had a good laugh.

Underrated post
>>3781195
Honestly I'm surprised it even works
Why a fucking drill though? A screwdriver and elbow grease isn't enough for these american faggots?
>>3785456
If OP was smart he would have seen THE GIANT FUCKING WARNING around the hole saying not to put a screw there.
>>3781195
>What should I do?
An hero or chemical castration. Only way to save the human race.
