The plastic side of the disc doesnt have ones or zeros, it just need to be transparent to the laser. The ones and zeros are on the label side.

So if the plastic is scratched there's a bunch of ways to buff out and repair the surface.

SimTown not Sim Tower, it's a scaled down version of Sim City for kids where you can see individual households (some of which turned up in The Sims).

I had a ton of work getting Kingpin: Life of Crime to work on my modern PCs. I tried with XP, 7 and 8 and always had to resort to a partition with 98 or ME. I think there's a GOG version now though.
