Commander Keen series from idsoftware (before they made wolfenstein or doom).

Its a platformer, pretty good one too. Its abandonware now, I picked up all 6 episodes recently off a site.

Lands of Lore definetly worth to be played for me. It has all the flavor of old PC games and is still really playable today. No great RPG mechanisms on the other hand
