They look just fine on the PSP's 4 inch screen, and like >>3758883 said, you can even edit the textures with PPSSPP. It's pretty easy. I might get around to ripping the Dreamcast's textures myself.

Even emulated the games have some slowdown. It's not hardware fault. It seems they were not well ported.

Some textures are the same, some got downgraded. Funny that Pharaoh Walker texture is 128x128 while the minuscle guy who rides it have a 256x256 texture.

Well now I know it's your hardware at fault, because PPSSPP doesn't emulate the slowdown that the games had on PSP.

MediEvil Resurrection, Battlefront 2, and Tomb Raider: Anniversary all run at a very spongey framerate on the PSP but run at a full 60fps on PPSSPP with no hiccups.

If you have a decent PC and the games are still running poorly for you, it could be your settings. I have experienced no slowdown when emulating them on my rig.
