Front Mission 3

Before I owned a psx, I got this fm3 strategy guide from a local library book sale. Didn't even know about the game, but I loved the wanzers and their style. Fast forward a couple years, and I find the game at a garage sale. Fast foward a couple years, and I finally have a computer fast enough to run a ps1 emulator. I play the game and absolutely love it. Fast forward to today, and I got a rpi3 running psx games perfectly, and playing all those psx games I have always wanted to play, but never had the time or equipment.

I still fucking love fm3.

Psychic Force. I love the characters, and it has one of the best soundtracks of its generation. Neat, albeit gimmicky fighting mechanics too.

Persona 2. The way you recruit monsters by socializing in different ways according to their personality is neat. It feels very refreshing compared to the other JRPGs and their gameplay, though I'm not sure if that's the same sort of system that's common in dating sims.
