To be honest I prefer Bushido Blade 2 to the first one, even though I played the fuck out of the first one. I liked how neither had health bars, and many attacks could kill in one hit. That being said, I feel that hit detection and damage in general were better implemented in BB2. For reference, it was virtually impossible to kill anyone in BB1 with a hammer, even though it regularly knocked people on their asses. Also, BB1's dedicated block button felt clunky and too much like a regular fighting game. BB2 required you to defend by attacking the opponent's attack or, if you were quick, moving backwards. Movement and attacks felt a little more fluid without being cartoony (they saved that for the character designs--zing!) and there was a diversity of weapons and fighting styles.

But Gundam Battle Assault 2 is the shit. I wish we'd gotten Endless Duel officially, but BA2 is awesome. I've unlocked many of the suits, but not Psycho or the other Mobile Armors yet.
