One of the biggest problems with homebrew games is that, surprise, the kind of nerds who decide to make their own games don't actually know shit about making a game. Plus they always make them about some stupid, jokey premise that's "LOL SO RANDUMB", like Super Bat Puncher, for starters.

Also, they always try to force le quirky meme stories into platformers, which is fucking unbearable.

OP again, I've been playing this off and on whenever I get a second for the better part of today. It is difficult, but the good kind. The kind of difficult that you want to keep trying.

Like the chick who says you aren't banging her hard enough, but the way she says it makes you want to keep trying, rather than coming off as a selfish cunt.

This is easily going into my top 5 favorite NES games. Other 4 are Castlevania, final fantasy, legend of Zelda, and Kirby.

I usually play Snes games but since I hacked my wii u to play nes I started to look for some hidden gems and I found Shatteredhand and I really liked it. Im going to try Chōjin Sentai Jetman later because am a Sentai fan and the game looks like it has the same vibe. There is even an english translation of it.
