Isn't that what they said for the last 5 years?
Shit, that would be really cool if it was PS2 compatible. I'll stick to CD burning, then.
I've been playing all my ps1 on my matrix-chipped PS2 slim for years, CD-Rs are still cheap enough.
To be honest, I don't play PS1 too often.
I do have an old SCPH-1001 (japanese model) that I bought back in the 90s, whose laser died a long time ago, so this is good news in the events I'd ever wanted to make use of it again, but no need for now.

I'm replacing my PS1 games with SD cards already.
Bought some SD card boxes with the cover art and everything
Just wait for PS1 disc to take lotsa value then sell them
isn't the compatibility with these kind-of shit?

They have a list of all issues here.
Most are video FMV issues.
Figured this would be the best place to ask this. Does anyone have a list/link to a list of updated RPG games for the PS1/2/3/P? I'm working on collecting RPGs for Sony consoles and I can't for the life of me find up to date lists. My PS3 is almost done.
