What's a good controller for playing N64 games on an emulator?
>>3752390
I just use a PS2 controller.
Set the C-buttons to the right stick, Z to either L2 or R2 (or both), with B and A on Square and X.
>n64 emulation
Also, a N64 controller. Other analog sticks don't have the same precision as the N64's.

You were asking for it, lad.

>games that aren't OOT or SM64 are full of glitches anyway

>it fixes and problem and creates 2 new ones
Yeah, nah.
Also shitty texture packs and upscalers don't mean N64 emulation is better than real hardware, you should be playing on a CRT anyway.

Compatibility is pretty good now, stop talking out your ass hardwarefag.

The one in your pic champ

I figured out how to fix it, but it was an adventure.

This is OP after he realized N64 emulation sucks.

I also use a PS2 controller like the other anon said, and I can do a lot crazy moves and grab 120 stars in Mario 64 really fast, any problem?
>>3753523
>any problem?
I did have problems using different controllers for N64 emulation, such as 360 controller, Gamecube controller, and dualshock.
And yes, there is a difference, most noticeable on shooting games like star fox where aiming is important.
I congratulate you if you could complete Mario, but have you tried it with a real N64 stick? You'd know it's not the same.

Just adjust the analog sensitivity / deadzone in the emulator until you're comfortable with it.

>until you're comfortable with it.
That's the problem.
