Yeah, it was made just after the Super NES was launched, so of course the Genesis' library was going to exceed it with its two year head start.

This ad worked. Is it a good game?

>I also have a magazine somewhere with Daytona USA on the cover that has a 6-page article about Halo back when it was destined to be a PC game from the late 90s.

As a Nintendo fan I gotta admit that those two first commercials are amazing. I love games like Ridge Racer and Sonic.

is this a legit one or a shoop?
>>3750646

too risqué for their desires :/

I fapped on this, based Mega Drive.
The Dreamcast had pretty rad ads.
(Unfortunately it got released way too early and people kept on playing with a Sony machine that delivered massive releases, so even the best ads weren't enough.)

God I miss old Nintendo. When hardware power actually mattered to them and made games for people who actually liked games.

>RPG
What did they mean by this
>>3754523
Because the concept of a stealth action game was still pretty unheard of at the time, so they called it a "tactical RPG" (戦略RPG) instead.
I guess you could consider Metal Gear 1 an action RPG, seeing how it's free-roaming and has a simple leveling system.

Yes

>> /v/ before it officially became /v/
How much "avant-la-lettre" can you possibly get?
Nice illustrations though.
>>3752947
Don't these things not even work anymore due to the signal changing shit?

/v/ is just a sad microcosm of the state of video game culture in general.
>All the /v/ermins whining about whether PS2 and Xbox 360 started the trend of dudebro sports game when the Genesis sold itself on sports games
