Hey guys, any thoughts on if this everdrive n8 is legit? I got it through a Canadian seller and want to update it, but I'm just worried about it maybe being a bootleg and me bricking the thing.

Must be the same case as the Snes Chinese version.
Old revision that you can't update firmware but works just like the original.

Maybe, I haven't tried to update it. It's on v13 right now, and the newest is v15. Should I just leave it alone? Suppose I should look up the change logs for those 2 releases.

The n8 doesn't emulate unless you're trying to argue the mapper support, which is more of replicated in code than actually emulated in an engine of any kind.
