Sega Saturn Model 2 controller. Best 2D controller hands down.

I use the Hori Fighting Commander 4 for emulators. Tempted to pick their Edge-301 once I built a decent rig.

But hey, it was either buy a whole new controller, or just an adapter for my current console controller

Don't regret it though, everything about the controller is fantastic minus the no analog triggers or pressure sensitive buttons (how many games even used that?)

x/dinput doesn't play well with it, it's best to have total control over how your buttons are binded. Otherwise games which expect a 360 layout will maintain the abxy binds but since the wii u is flipped relative to the 360, you'll be getting some unexpected results. Some games hate it too, like umihara kawase PC, but I think this is just because lolPC.

I use this.

It works pretty well, and I even use it for modern games.

Bionic Commando Rearmed is a blast with it!
