What are some weird/trippy/"screwed up" games?
pic related is Weird Dreams, which came with a ton of lore and story. it's frustratingly hard, but has a ton of lore in it and great production values for an Amiga game.
Other games I can think of are:

Also Cosmology of Kyoto is an incredibly underrated masterpiece.

Portal, not the valve game but an older one released on c64 and amiga by activision (yes, there was a time were they took risky bets like this one).
Well, is not really a game but a basic interactive novel, you are supposed to be an astronaut who went o a mission one hundreds years ago and come back to a deserted earth, the only thing he finds is a working terminal managed by an abandoned IA and you work together with it to discovered what happened with everybody.
The writting is surprisingly good.
